Jim Bunning pitched for four teams in his sixteen-year Hall of Fame career, most notably two stints with the Philadelphia Phillies. On June 21, 1964, Father's Day, while pitching for the Philadelphia Phillies, Jim Bunning pitched his perfect game against the New York Mets. In addition to his perfect game, some of the other highlights of Bunning's career are: 9x All-Star (1957, 1959, 1961-1964, 1966), American League Wins Leader (1957), 3 x Strikeout leader, (1959, 1960, 1967). Pitched a no-hitter on July 20, 1958. Jim Bunning was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.
